In the run up to one of the most controversial presidential elections ever, Search Laboratory has analysed Google search data to find out what Europeans think of the two candidates: Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton.
We’ve compared search volume for both in Germany, Italy, France, Spain and the UK to find out who has the most search interest. We’ve also taken a closer look at what specific questions are being asked about the presidential hopefuls by America’s closest ally, the UK. From questions such as “is Donald Trump dead?” to “What did Hillary Clinton do as Secretary of State?”, everyone wants to find out more about the leadership candidates.
