Media Relations TASK FORCEThe goal of the media relations committee for the North Central Business Travel Association is to keep all relevant media outlets abreast of pertinent association information as well as to create brand awareness for the North Central Business Travel Association. The committee focus is to position our Direct members as spokespersons who are pre-qualified to address travel industry trends, special worldwide events and unusual issues to various media including newspaper, TV, and magazines. Corporation expertise within the North Central Business Travel Association chapter includes leading procurement strategies, travel policy governance, practices in strategic travel management, incentive and meeting planning, global consolidation, traveler safety and security, online travel technology, and expense reporting. Supplier membership is representative of airline, car rental, hotel, ground transportation, expense reimbursement and related travel services. The North Central Business Travel Association chapter serves as liaison between the National Association Business Travel Association and local or national media for writing and disseminating press releases, media alerts, coordinating interviews and developing press conferences or other public relation events.
